Cynthia Ann Nance, 56, Paducah, died at her residence on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 9:00 p.m.

Cynthia was a member of Oakalone Christian Church where she served with The Women of Valor. She was a 1972 graduate of Heath High School. She also was a graduate of West Kentucky Vocational School where she was certified in Business Administration. She was employed in Social Services by the State of Kentucky.

Ann is survived by a daughter, Antoinette Olivia Nance of Paducah, KY; five brothers, Earnest Nance of Irvington, NJ, Larry Nance of West Paducah, KY, Ardell Nance and Jerry Bradshaw of Paducah, KY, and Clarence Bradshaw of Mayfield, KY; six sisters, Charlene Owens of Louisville, KY, Barbara Toliver of Irvington, NY, Shirley Mason and Connie Bradshaw both of West Paducah, KY, Birdie Phelps of Union City, TN, and Tammy Jones of Paducah, KY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Elbert Nance and Frances Overba Bacon Nance, five brothers and one sister.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 18, 2011, 1:00 p.m., at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Clayton W. Beasley officiating with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Monday, October 17, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, after 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church.
