NAGLE.--Miss Annie G., daughter of Wm. and Rebecca Nagle, was converted and united with St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal Church, Philadelphia, in 1874, and continued a faithful member of the Church and Sabbath-school until her death, February 16, 1882. She bore excessive pain for nine weeks with Christian meekness. Her ambition was to contribute to the happiness of her parents and friends. So pure-minded and affectionate was she, that all who knew her admired and loved her. She was not as emotional as some, but she had an ardent love for Jesus and his people; had no confidence in her own merits, but trusted alone in Christ. Annie has passed away in the morning of life, and many miss her happy smiling face. The funeral services, held in St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal Church, February 19, were conducted by the pastor (the Rev. D. W. Gordon) and the writer.
