Elizabeth Craig Nagle, a Lubbock native, died in Madison, Wis. on December 18, 2008. She was born Elizabeth Knox Craig on July 5, 1929, the daughter of the late Dr. William M. Craig and Elizabeth Cox Craig. Her father for many years was a professor of chemistry at Texas Tech. She lived her entire childhood in Lubbock, graduating from Lubbock High School in 1946 and from Texas Tech with a degree in home economics in 1950. For several years, she taught home economics in Texas and New Mexico. She married Frederick W Nagle, then an Air Force officer, in 1953. She lived in various parts of the country during her lifetime and in Wisconsin since 1977.
She is survived by her husband, three children, six grandchildren, and by her brother, William M Craig, Jr. of Santa Fe, N.M. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Craig Memorial Scholarship in Chemistry at TTU.
