Frances Myers Tuck-Anderson, 72, of Beales Lane, Nathalie passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, at Halifax Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles Irby Anderson.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Halifax County, Jan. 20, 1938 a daughter of the late Syndor D. Myers and Annie Wynn Myers. She was a member of Republican Grove Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald (Donna) Tuck, Timothy (Candace) Anderson all of Nathalie; one daughter, Brenda (Bobby) Thompson of Nathalie; four grandchildren, Bobby (Wendy) Thompson, Amy (Tommy) Hanks, Christie (Robert) Martin, Brandon Tuck; six great-grandchildren; one brother, William (Peggy) Myers of Hurt; five sisters, Virginia (Stafford) Hunter of Brookneal, Edna (BJ) James, Hilda (Kenneth) Waller all of Nathalie, Betty Booker, Helen (Gurney) Angel all of Naruna. She was preceded in death by, three brothers, Carl, Winston and James Myers; one sister, Margaret Francis.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Republican Grove Methodist Church by the Rev. Charlie Johnson and the Rev. Shelton Miles with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 pm Friday, Dec. 17, 2010 at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal and at her residence other times.
