Eloise Gee Myers, widow of James Roland Myers, of Richmond and Sandy Point Beach in Westmoreland County, Va., died October 7, 2001. Born in 1908, she was the daughter of Mabel Ligon and Edward Maurice Gee. Upon the death of her husband in 1958, she became the registrar for the dean of the School of Pharmacy at the Medical College of Virginia and three years later, the administrative secretary to the dean. After retiring in 1976, Mrs. Myers moved permanently to her summer home in Westmoreland County. She worked for Harold Clark Lumber Co. and then for Earl Withers Lumber Co., retiring again 2 1/2 years ago. She was predeceased by her son, James Roland Myers, Jr. and a brother, Edward J. Gee. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy M. Frazier of Richmond; her brother, James M. Gee of Wilmington, N.C.; her six granddaughters, Janet S. Moyers of Richmond, Carol S. Wobby of Naperville, Ill., Diane L. Selph of Chicago, Ill., Susan S. Gresham of Greensboro, N.C., Stephanie M. Myers of Menasha, Wis., and Vicki M. Meyer of Waukesha, Wis. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 11, at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Carmel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 114, Hague, Va. 22469. Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, in charge of arrangements.
