Eddie A Myers, age 63, Danville, Indiana, died suddenly March 8, 1999. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today, March 11, at the First Baptist Church of Danville, Rev Ron McDugle and Rev Billy Strother officiating. Burial will be in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery. Calling was 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Baker Funeral Home, Danville.
Born Oct 28, 1935 in Danville, he was the son of Henry Alvin and Pearl Alice (Buckingham) Myers. He graduated from New
Winchester High School in 1953 and attended Purdue University.
Mr Myers was a farmer in the Danville area and a member of the Hendricks County Cattleman's Association of which he was treasure. He was named Cattleman of the Year in 1990. He was also a member of the North Salem Masonic Lodge, Lebanon Shrine, and Scottish Rite.
He is survived by his widow, Julia (Griffith) Myers; son, Jerry W Myers of Danville; daughters, Janet A Garner of Alaska; Jeanne Dillon and Jessica Scott, both of Danville; step-children, Dana (Land) Zimmerman; Richard Land and Charles Land; his father, Henery Myers; three sisters, Jean Wingler of Coatesville, Joy Self of Missouri and Sara Obert of Plainfield; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a close family friend, Anthony Veraldi of Broad Ripple.
