James Howard Myers, 84, Brownsburg, Indiana, died December 10, 2004 [in Indianapolis]. He was an auto mechanic 30 years for Foxworthy Ford, retiring in 1984. Then he was a bus driver for Brownsburg Community Schools. Mr. Myers was an Army veteran of WWII, serving in Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland. He was a member of Eagle Valley Church of Christ, Clermont. Memorial contributions may be made to Eagle Valley Church of Christ Mission Fund or the American Cancer Society. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at Eagle Valley Church of Christ, Clermont. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2004 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery, Brownsburg, Indiana. He was the widower of Roberta Welch Myers and Annie Blythe Myers. Survivors include daughters Betty Bennett, Shirley Wallace; step-son Charles Smith; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Willie Fletcher; and brother, Charles Myers.
