It is believed the original spelling of this last name is MIERS. It is found in 1850,1860 & 1870 Rich Hill Greene Co., Pa census records this way as well as other places.
Children, from census records, include: Eli, Henry, Sarah E, Josephus, Martha Jane, Freman M., Margaret A, Terissa, Amanda, Isaac J, Elgy.
Their daughter Teresa married Theodore Allison first. After she passed her sister Margaret married him. Eli & Freeman Myers married Allisons- sisters of Theodore.
Their son, Josephus Myers, 3/1843 WV-5/26/1916 Marshall Co., WV married Susannah Sickle(s).
