Dorothy Brewer, 80, of Pampa, died July 2, 2015 in Pampa.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, July 6, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Ed Sattesahn, pastor of First Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Brewer was born May 24, 1935 in Fort Worth. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1972. She married Troy Brewer on April 11, 1972 in Pampa. He preceded her in death in 2010. Dorothy was a checker for Ideal Food Store for 15 years. She worked for Your Laundry & Dry Cleaners for 10 years, and owned and operated J & W Auto and T & D Auto for several years. She attended First Assembly of God. Dorothy loved her dogs, Kibby, Snuggy and Tractor Girl.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Effie Ola Musick; a daughter, Mitzie Blalock in 2004, and 2 grandsons, Jimmie Blalock in 1998 and Tanner Woodruff in 1994.

Survivors include seven daughters, Vickie Lesher and husband Tim, Staci Proctor and husband Tim, Angie Brewer, Rhonda Hagen and husband Van, Melinda Brewer, Alisha Stroud and husband Greg, and Becky Willis and husband Lynn, all of Pampa; a son, Troyce Brewer of Pampa; 23 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 415 W. 8th Ave., Suite 300, Amarillo, Texas 79101; or Accolade Home Care, 1313 N. Hobart, Pampa, Texas 79065.
