Mistake Was Fatal George Murray
Dead From Drinking Furniture Polish
Instead of Tonic
George Murray, an employe of the Washington Terminal Co., living at 490 K street southwest died this morning as the result of accidentally drinking a quantity of furniture polish
This was determined at an autopsy conducted by Deputy Coroner White at the District morgue today. According to the information furnished the coroner, Murray had been in the habit of taking a tonic in the morning before going to work. He made a mistake in the bottle Monday morning, drank the furniture polish and became so ill he had to be removed to Providence Hospital, where he died this morning.
