Lucille Murray Fait, a longtime resident of Tooele, Utah, passed away at her home on Sunday, 19 February 2012 at the age of eighty-five.

Lucille was born in Tooele on 9 August 1926 to J. Wilber and Mary Henwood Murray. She graduated from Tooele LDS Seminary and Tooele High School in 1943.

Lucille married Joseph Anthony Vicevich on 18 September 1943 in Tooele. They had three children before divorcing in 1947. On 16 August 1951, she married Elwin LeRoy Fait in Las Vegas, Nevada. The had three children and for the majority of their lives made their home in Tooele. Elwin preceded Lucille in death in 1989.

Lucille chose to seek a career as a civil servant. She held several positions at Dugway Proving Grounds. She retired from her position as administrative assistant to Dugway Proving Grounds' chief scientist in 1986. In 1997, she moved to Taylorsville, where she has resided for the past fifteen years.

Two of Lucille's brothers, Marion Murray and Glen Murray, preceded her in death. Her surviving brother Reid Murray is a resident of Old Hickory, Tennessee. She is also survived by her children, Patricia Olson, Linda (Sheryl) Benson, LaRae Fait, and Cathy (Scott) Oyler, all of Salt Lake City; and Howard (Kathy) Fait and Mike (Val) Fait, both of Grantsville. Lucille has twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

"As I end my journey through this life, I delight in the loving and caring family I leave behind. My journey has been rocky, but I have faced adversity and won, growing always stronger along the way. I look forward to reuniting with loved ones and to the peace the next part of my journey will provide." Lucille was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She held a wide variety of calling over her lifetime.

Funeral services will be held at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, on Thursday, 23 February 2012 at 1:00 p.m., with a visitation held the hour prior.
Interment will be in the Tooele City Cemetery.
