Bertha M. Ayliffe, 79, died on Saturday, May 10, 1952, at Lake Fenton. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 13th from the Chappell & Stout Funeral Home in Clio with Rev. Ralph Woodard officiating. Burial was in Clio Woodlawn cemetery. Mrs. Ayliffe was born October 23, 1872 at Belleville, Ontario and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alec Murray. Mrs. Ayliffe had lived in Clio for 40 years and in Owosso for the past four years. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Arbela and the WSCS of Wesley Methodist church, Clio. Surviving are: 2 sons, Lloyd of Flint and Morris of Birch Run; 1 daughter, Mrs. Harold Allen, Owosso; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
