Mr. Murray, 82, Fowlerton, died Monday at Community Hospital, Anderson.
Mr. Murray retired in 1971 from Delco Remy, Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Edith; two sons, Wade and Willis, both of Alexandria; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Barbara) Vetor, Anderson; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday at the Jay-Swift & Storey Funeral Home, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, with Rev. David Smitly officiating. Burial was made in Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
