Anna Teresa Murray, 78, Hume, died Monday afternoon at Mercy Hospital, Fort Scott. She was born Dec. 26, 1893 in Vernon County, the daughter of Thomas and Anna Garde Sheehy.

She was married to Lester F. Murray March 7, 1915 at Rich Hill. He preceded her in death Jan. 12, 1938. Mrs. Murray was a member of Saint Bridget's Catholic Church, Rich Hill.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. David Brooks, Miss Rita Murray, both of Route 1, Hume; a son, Thomas M. Murray, Route 1, Hume; two sisters, Mary Jane Gump, Fort Scott, Catherine Pearsall, San Francisco, Calif.; tow brothers, C. M. Sheehy, Lee B. Sheehy, both of Richards; nine grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Bridget's Catholic Church. Father John H. Van Gorder, Butler, will officiate. Mrs. Paula Schowengerdt will be the organist. Pallbearers will be Tom J. Murray, Jim M. Murray, Mike F. Murray, David E. Brooks, Kenneth R. Burns and Harry E. Bell.

Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Torneden Funeral Home, Hume.

Rosary services will be held 8 p.m. wednesday at Torneden Chapel, Hume.
