ARDEN, BETTY "JANE" MURPHY DAVIS CRUMLEY - Born January 19, 1937 and passed away August 15, 2008. Jane was a graduate of East High School, class of 1955. A member of First Baptist Church Knoxville. An avid bowler for 40 years, bowling at Palace, Fountain, Starlite, Western, and Family Bowling Lanes. Had worked at Palace Lanes for 10 years and Hyatt Regency accounting department for 20 years. Was a foster mom with Omni Vision for a number of years. Was also a CNA for awhile and belonged to the Young at Heart Senior Club of South Knoxville. President of Ruth Sunday School Class. Past secretary of WMU and a member of Golden Senior Choir. She is preceded in death by first husband, Joe T Davis III; second husband, Robert Jerald Crumley; third husband, Clarence Henry Arden, Sr.; mother, Ella Mae Murphy; sisters, Helen Joyce Randles and Claudia Joann Markham. Jane was a good mother and sister and grandmother. Survived by sons, John Michael Davis, James Andrew Davis, William Paul Davis; and six grandchildren, Zack, Sam, Robby, Alex, Ava Marie, and Will Davis; brother, Roy Murphy and wife Marty; nephews, nieces, great nephews & nieces, step children, and step grand children. Special thanks to friends who sent cards and called during Jane's illness. Graveside Service 10 AM Tuesday, Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. William D. Shiell officiating.
