Benjamin John Murphy, 39, Green Bay, died Friday morning, October 31, 2014, after a prolonged illness. Born October 8, 1975, in Green Bay, he is the son of Marilyn (Wesley) Murphy and the late James P. Murphy. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he continued his education throughout his life, with studies abroad and most recently at UW-Green Bay. Ben's love of history, geography and languages was complemented with his passion for reading and the understanding of world events.
Ben is survived by his mother, Marilyn; beloved son, Max; one brother, Jess; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Jim.
