Betty was born on August 5, 1945 to Raymond and Tillie Munoz in Kansas City, MO, and was a lifelong resident. She was united in marriage to Louis Baldasso on Nov 30, 1963. She had worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Pediatrics for several years, for Switzer Grade School as a teachers aid, and finally at Edcor Fire & Safety until she became a stay at home grandmother to babysit her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine where she was a Guadalupana and a Tamalara and also a member of Holy Name Church. She enjoyed traveling, especially to San Antonio, Texas for the fiestas or just going to the casino and she had this amazing gift and passion for sewing, quilting, and cooking for her family and friends which will be sadly missed.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Raymond Munoz, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Louis, of the home; four daughters and their spouses, Teresa Santoyo, Angela and Ralph Ojeda of Kansas City, MO, Patricia and Carson Butler of Lawrence, KS, Jessica and Beto Dominguez of Overland Park, KS; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Alfred Munoz, Joe Munoz, John Munoz, and Edward Munoz all of Kansas City, MO, Paul Munoz and Michael Munoz both of Kansas City, KS; sisters, Victoria Munoz, Mary Grace Garcia, and Irene Munoz all of Kansas City, MO, Rita Zuniga of Kansas City, KS; and many nieces and nephews.
