Bessie May Clark, age 77 years of Iberia, Mo., passed away Wednesday, March 6, 1974 at the Miller County Nursing Home near Tuscumbia, Mo. Mrs. Clark was born May 2, 1896 in Crawford County near Cuba, Mo., the daughter of Jacob and Emaline (Lawson) Munch. She was married December 26, 1914 in Springfield Mo. to Pat Clark, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Clark's family moved to Miller County in 1902 and she spent the rest of her life in and around Iberia, Mo. She had been a member of the Freedom Christian Church near Dixon, Mo. since her youth.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, John and Ray Munch and one sister in infancy, Lucinda Munch.
Surviving other than her husband, Pat, are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Dixon of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Grace Myer of Berkeley, Mo., and Miss Ruth Clark of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Morrow of New Bloomfield, Mo. and Mrs. Bertha Russell of Iberia, Mo. and one brother, Ben Munch of Iberia, Mo.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9 at the Stevinson Chapel in Iberia, with Rev Gary Gulley officiating. Interment was in the Iberia Cemetery under the direction of the Stevinson Funeral Home of Iberia, Mo.
