MaryBelle Mullins Connors, 89, formerly of 37 Bulkley St., Williamstown, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at Prospect Nursing Home, North Bennington, Vt. Born in Rochester, Ind., on Nov. 28, 1919, daughter of Ira Lee Mullins and Elsie May Winn Mullins, she attended schools in Indiana and attended Ball State Teachers College. She was employed at Williams College in the Treasurer's Office and the Dean's Office. She often typed for the Williams College art department and students. She was a docent at the Clark Art Institute. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Williamstown and taught in the CCD program. She was an accomplished seamstress and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin Frederick Connors, who died on Dec. 13, 1995. They were married on Aug. 16, 1941. She leaves three daughters, Francine Taylor and her husband, Robert, of Hudson, Wis., Eileen Zazzaro and her husband, Anthony, of Shaftsbury, Vt., and Doreen Connors of Sterling; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Joan Leffert and her husband, Gerald, Betty Weirick, Barbara Westafer, and Sharon Robinson and her husband, John; one brother, John Mullins and his wife, Pat; several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will take place Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel in Williamstown, MA. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Patrick Food Pantry through the funeral home.
