BAKER, Jo S. (Mullin) age 90 of Englewood, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2009 at Grace Brethren Village. She was born on August 23, 1918 in Harrison County, Cynthiana, Kentucky.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents: Henry & Vergie (McKinley) Mullin, husband of 34 years: James M. Baker, two brothers: Wayne and Dixie Mullin, and a step-son: Gary W. Baker.
Jo was raised in Rushville, Indiana and graduated from Rushville High School with the Class of 1938, and then attended Hamilton Business School in Hamilton, Ohio. She then moved to Dayton in 1943 and began working at WPAFB. She later was employed as a secretary in the engine, aircraft and electronic fields for many years. She attended Salem Church of God in Clayton for many years, a member of the Jonathan Dayton Chapter of the DAR, and a Life Member of Delta Chapter, Delta Chi Sigma Sorority International.
She is survived by her sister: Jean Rhoton Clauss of Des Plaines, IL, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2009 at the Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria, Ohio with Chaplain Dick Robbins officiating.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the charity of your choice.
