Rufus K.Mullikin Jr.,78 of Star City,a retired mechanic &
auto body worker,died Thursday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.Born near Star City ,he was a son of
Kendrick & Annie Blasengame Mullikin.Survivors include
his wife,Abbie J.Dyson Mullikin; two step-daughters,
Eloise Cook of Star City,& Betty Jean Newkirk of West
Helena; three sisters Grace Newman & Glady's Hall,both
of Star City,& Margaret E.Scifres of White Hall;two brothers,Buck Mullikin & Jake Mullikin,both of Star City.
His funeral is scheduled for 2p.m. at Griffin Funeral
Service of Star City.Burial will be in Drake Cemetery
near Star City.Pallbearers will be Orville Cook,Gene
Ray Cook,Ray Mullikin,Robert Hall,Jimmie Scifres &
Stark Newman.

I miss you. My favorite memory is the family going to you home for fish fries. You always cut the fish where their were no bones, so all the kids could eat without the fear of getting a bone stuck.
