Gary R. Muir, 74, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah.
Born June 5, 1934 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Kenneth E. and Belva Rees Muir. Married Kay Willmore on June 5, 1956 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Gary was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife Kay; children Lynn (Lynette) Muir, Ken (Kim) Muir, Dan (Aja) Muir, Kim (Jim) Guymon, Julie (Mark) Singleton and Melissa Muir; 13 grandchildren, one great grandchild; sisters Marcia (Ron) Tippetts, Pam (Brian) Mottishaw and Vicki (Russell) Elliott. Preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 20, 2008 at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 North 400 East, where friends and family may call on Sunday, October 19 from 6-8 p.m. and from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment: Lakeview Memorial Estates Cemetery.
