Graveside services for Shirley Ann Holdorf, 78, of Abilene, TX will be at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 S., Abilene, TX at 10 AM, Wed, September 15, 2010. During a brief stay at Hendrick Hospital she left this world to be in a better place, Saturday, September 11, 2010.
Shirley Ann Holdorf was born July 13, 1932 to Ernest & Ella Muhs at Hoskins, NE. After graduation at Wayne High School she was employed at various jobs in Wayne until moving to Norfolk, NE where she worked at Norfolk Daily News, Penney's & Kmart. Shirley moved to Abilene, TX in 1979 then worked for Penney's, Kmart, & Ambers retiring in 1993.
Survivors are, her sister, Jeanette Steinbrecher of San Antonio, TX; her brother, Wendell Muhs (Wanda) of Wayne, NE; her children, Virginia Kimbler (Michael) of Seymour, TX, Brian Roberts of Grand Island, NE, Brent Roberts of Carrollton, TX, Shelly Hargrove (Bubba), of Abilene, TX, Mark Roberts (Teresa) of Columbus, NE, Anne Owens (Buddy) of Tuscola, TX, Scott Holdorf (Rochelle), of Abilene, TX; 12 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest & Ella Muhs and her brother, Larry Muhs.
