At his home near Eldridge at 11:30 o'clock last night occurred the death of Jochim Muhs at the age of 69 years and 3 months. The deceased was a native of Holstein, Germany, and had been in this country since 1854. He was a soldier of the war of 1848-50 and was a member of the Kampfpgenossen Verein of this city.
He is survived by his wife and nine children, Emil Muhs, Adolph, Mrs. Bertha Lueverkribbe, Mrs. Augusta Marti, Henry, William, Julius, Pauline and Louis Muhs.
The funeral will be held Sunday morning at 10 o'clock with interment in Pine Hill cemetery.
