Mrs. Acker was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Clarence A. Acker, whom she married April 14, 1934, and who died February 25, 2002; and her parents, Aloys and Selma, nee Ross, Mueth.
Surviving are her children, Gary A. Acker of Belleville, Ill., and Gaye (Alvin) Bettis of Swansea, Ill.; two grandchildren, Gayal (Greg) Rademaker and their son, Greyson, of Lincoln, Ill., and Michael Bettis and his children, Courtney, Kristina, and Tanner Bettis.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Home or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Funeral: Committal services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at Reiss Memorial Chapel at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill., with the Rev. Doug Stewart officiating.
