Estella Katharine Mueller, nee Wagner, 93, of Glen Carbon, Ill., born Sept. 9, 1914, in Marissa, Ill., died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, at Eden Village Nursing Center, Glen Carbon, Ill.

Mrs. Mueller retired as a cafeteria manager at Stookey School in Belleville, Ill.

She was baptized into her faith Oct. 4, 1914, and confirmed April, 1928, in Dormstadt, Ill.

Estella was preceded in death by her husband, Emil C. Mueller, whom she married Oct. 7, 1934; her daughter, Glenda K. Kolb; her parents, Michael and Julianne, nee Reuss, Wagner; two brothers, Harold and Harvey Wagner; and two sisters, Helen Knecht and Mildred Redding.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Michael J. Ceretto, Jill Ceretto, Nicole Calderone and A.J. Kolb; four great-grandchildren, Christine, Gavin, Nicholas and Christian; her brothers and sisters, Melvin (Dorothy) Wagner, Delbert Wagner, Verna Koch and Julietta (Arthur) Bottiaux.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Maryville, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, at Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Wagner officiating.

Interment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
