Charles Edward "Ed" Mudd, a life member of St. John's Church in Clinton. He was the son of the late Bernard Albert Mudd Jr. and Frances Alice (Mudd) Mudd.

Ed served for six years with the Army in Germany and advanced to Sergeant. He was employed for more than 47 years with The Company (Firearms International Corp., Garcia Co-Operation F.I.I. and Beretta U.S.A.)
He served with his cousin, Mary Mudd McHale, on the Board of Directors of the Dr. Samuel A. Mudd House Museum, volunteered for 42 years as a Scout Leader, and was a collector of antique furniture, belt buckles, coffee mugs, Scout momentoes, and much more. At St. John's, he was an Usher/Greeter at the 8 a.m. Mass, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 11171, the Holy Name Society and the Senior Lunch Bunch.
His wife Dorothy N. (Ingling) Mudd, son Charles Edward Jr., and brothers Bernard Albert Mudd III and William Aloysius Mudd Sr. predeceased him. Survivors include his twin sons, Joseph and Jeffrey Mudd, five grandchildren, and brother George W. Mudd.
