Ruth Anne Bishop, 80, of Thorndale, died Tuesday, September 29, 1998, at the Hickory House in Honey Brook, following a brief illness.
She was the widow of Wolfe M. Bishop who died in 1975.
Born in Parkesburg, she was the daughter of the late William and Emma McNelly Mowrey.
She was employed by the Fantana Rosa Insuance Agency in Thorndale as a clerk.
She was a member of the Caln Privileged Citizens and was active in their Tuesday craft group. She was also a member of the AARP.
She is survived by a son, William M. Bishop of Coastesville, a daughter, Linda J. Osborn of Newark, Del., a brother, Frank Mowrey of Parkesburg and five grandchildren.
