He brought to the marriage a child from his first marriage. She was the daughter of Waldine Terry Adam Sligar and Thelma Lucille Landingham.

Linda L. Mouser, a bus driver for the Elk Grove Unified School District for 20 years, died May 1, 2005 at the age of 59. Memorial services for Mrs. Mouser will take place Saturday, May 7 at 10 a.m. in Point Pleasant United Methodist Church,3329 Point Pleasant Road.
Mrs. Mouser loved the children on her bus, her daughter, Michelle Chunn said,"At one time some of them had no money at Christmas, and she bought them Christmas presents. One little boy never forgot what she did, and when he grew up and had a daughter, he named her after my mother." Mrs. Mouser was born in Red Bluff and lived in Elk Grove for 38 years. She enjoyed taking trips to the ocean.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years William Mouser of Elk Grove; children Thomas Mouser and wife Michele of Rancho Cordova, Stacy Compton of Red Mountain, Dean Mouser and wife Rhonda and Michelle Chunn and husband Ron of Elk Grove; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Mouser was the sister of Arletta Winch, Ace Sligar and Terry Sligar. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Elk Grove Funeral Chapel.
