Helen Caroline Phillips Mounts, 77, of Claysville, died Sunday, May 15, 2005, in her home.

She was born November 24, 1927, in West Finley Township, a daughter of Lawrence and Annie Inghram Phillips.

Mrs. Mounts was a member, of Living Waters Church of God, Washington, where she had attended for the past 52 years. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school for several years.

She had worked for Stanley Home Products and Friendly Home Parties, until her retirement. She also cleaned houses.

Mrs. Mounts enjoyed having yard sales and collecting teddy bears and dolls during her retirement.

On April 5, 1947, she married Ronald Dean Mounts Sr., who survives. Together they had celebrated 58 years of marriage.

Also surviving are four sons, Ronald D. (Karen) Mounts Jr. of
New Castle, Lawrence H. (Debby) Mounts of Washington and F. Stanley (Charmane ) Mounts and Timothy L. (Mary Jane) Mounts, both of Claysville; two brothers, Harry and Frank Phillips, both of Claysville; two sisters, Martha Mounts and Patty King, both of Washington nine grandchildren;10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a brother, Lawrence Phillips and three sisters, Mary Wright, Frances Villers and Shirley Gray.

Interment will be in West Finley Cemetery, West Finley, Pennsylvania.
