DEATH CLAIMS MRS. ELLIOTT
Services Monday For Resident, 63
Mrs. Delia M. Elliott, 63, passed away at her home on East Main street at 7:10 a.m. today.
In failing health for over a year, she had been seriously ill for four months.
Born near Burney on December 11, 1888, she was the daughter of David H. and Emma Pumphrey Mount. Her girlhood days were spent in the Burney community.
In 1904 she was united in marriage to Earl Elliott at Burney. Mr. Elliott preceded her in death several years ago.
For the past 16 years Mrs. Elliott and Dr. Frank Buckley have operated a veterinary service on East Main street.
The survivors are: One sister, mrs. Fred Elliott, of west of Greensburg; three nieces, Mrs. W. H. Waldschmidt, of Cannelton, Mrs. Virgil Schacktsiek of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Emerson Dellikamp, of Crawfordsville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Wenning and Porter funeral home. The Rev. George A. Harris, of Anderson, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Milford cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Sunday.
