Funeral services for Kelley LaGene Mount Atkins are scheduled for Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Garner and Rev. Cloyce Beecham officiating.
Interment will follow at Center Hill Holiness Cemetery near Lexington.
Mrs. Atkins, age 24, was a senior at the University of Tennessee at Martin majoring in Criminal Justice and was a member of the Criminal Justice Society there.
She was a Pentecostal and attended the Center Hill Holiness Church in Lexington and enjoyed playing the alto saxophone and the piano in her spare time.
She is survived by her step-father and mother, Kenneth and Colene Mount Wood of Danville, AL, a daughter, Amber Faith Atkins; three step-sisters: Tracy Hicks of Danville, AL, Wendy Laurence of Falkville, AL and Shelly Swain of Moulton, AL; and her grandmother, Mrs. Sue Mount.
