Edward Harold Moser, 75, died Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, in the emergency room at Home Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana.
He was born in Lafayette, Indiana, to the late Everett W. and Lucille Klinker Moser. In February 1955, he married Doris Hilt Moser in Lafayette, and she survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Deborah L. Plant, Linda S. Franklin, Sandra J. Moser and Nancy A. Mello, sisters, Rose Pace, Mary Ann Caldwell, Sherry Hammond, Tesslyn Rayburn, Theresa Hoefer and Ruby Moser and grandchildren, Jennifer Plant, Lindsay Plant, Lauren Mello, Sarah Mello, Brandon Mello and Rebecca Mello.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Jane and a brother, Bill.
He was a patrolman with the Lafayette Police Department for 20 years, retiring as a sergeant.
