OBITUARY :
MRS. MARGARET MOSER, 88, of 50 E. Lincoln Ave., and formerly of Waynesboro, Pa., died Tuesday, April 4, at Homewood Retirement Center in Williamsport.
Born July 3, 1911, in Herbert, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Edgar C. and Nellie Anna Stoner Rachor.
Her husband, John W. Moser, died Aug. 1, 1996. They were married May 6, 1934.
She was a 1930 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She was employed by Western Maryland Railway in Hagerstown; Fisher's Pharmacy, and Poole's Variety Store in Halfway.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Halfway.
She was a member of the Garden Club of Halfway and a volunteer with Washington County Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons, John W. Moser Jr. of West Lafayette, Ind., and Joseph B. Moser of Sharpsburg; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A requiem Mass will be celebrated Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 17618 Virginia Ave., Hagerstown. The Rev. Christopher Moore will be celebrant. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church Friday at 8 a.m.
