Mrs. Juanita E. Adams, age 71, of 608 E. 4th Street, Vidalia, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at her residence. A native of Montgomery County, she had resided in Vidalia the past 29 years.
She was retired from Rosebud Manufacturing Company in Vidalia and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Vidalia.
Mrs. Adams is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Shirley M. English of Valdosta and Mrs. Patsy E. Fordham of Jacksonville, Florida; two sons, Larry L. Adams and David Adams, both of Vidalia; 18 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Charlotte United Methodist Church with Rev. W.E. Flanders and Dr. Jerry A. Pickard officiating.
Interment was in the Moseley Cemetery near Uvalda. Pallbearers were Gene Davis, Shelton Adams, John A. Adams, Woody Tomlinson, Danny Adams and Danny Altman. Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge of funeral arrangements.
