MACON - John Ronald Moseley passed away peacefully Thursday, August 31, 2006.
Mr. Moseley was born in Darby, England to the late John William Moseley and Edna Anne Hayes Moseley on September 24, 1910. He is also predeceased by a daughter, Gail Moseley Walsh. He retired from Ayerst Laboratories in 1975 and was the 1952 President of the Pharmaceutical Association (Miami, FL). He was a member of the Pharmaceutical Association of Macon, GA from 1961 to 1975. As an avid sports fan, he loved his Atlanta Braves and Boston Red Sox and was chairman of the Ways and Means for the Central High School Sugar Bear Band Boosters from 1978 to 1995.
He will be missed by his wife of sixty-one years, Elizabeth "Beth" Moseley of Macon; daughters, Jeanie Moseley Patterson of Macon, Vianne Moseley Slentz (Allen) of Warner Robins, Carol Moseley Ervay (Michael) of Byron; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Bob Barnette of Macon.
