SORRENTO — Eva Lillian Morse, 95, passed away Oct. 28, 2012, at Golden Acres Home in Franklin. Eva Lillian was born Eva Fickett May 6, 1917, in Farmington, the daughter of Arthur E. Fickett and Eva Crocker Fickett.
She graduated from Greeley Institute in Cumberland in 1935 and married Preston E. Morse in 1939. Her husband died in 1993. She and her husband lived in Cumberland and North Windham. She spent her last years in Sorrento and at Golden Acres Home, Franklin.
She was predeceased by her husband; two brothers, Richard E. Fickett and Norman A. Fickett; two sisters, Mrs. Everdean P. Steward, Mrs. Mavis O. Bustin; and a grandson, Benjamin Perry. She leaves two daughters, Patricia Snow and husband Richard of Topsham and Joyce Perry and husband Dennis of Sorrento. She also leaves three grandchildren, Mark Snow and wife, Kimberly, of Yarmouth, Erin Eggers and husband Daniel, of Sudbury, Mass., and. Kathryn Werner and husband Jack, of Grayson, GA; as well as seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted Nov. 11, 2012, at Smith Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Golden Acres Caretakers Fund, c/o Diane Dow, 80 Main St., Franklin, ME 04634.
