Georgia Merle Crowley Morse
Birth: Dec. 13, 1920
Arizona, USA
Death: 2004
New York
New York County (Manhattan)
New York, USA

Georgia Merle (Crowley) Morse (1925-2004) was born in Morenci, Arizona. On 30 October 1942, Georgia married (first) N. Brewster Morse (Nathan Brewster Morse/Brewster Morse) - 1903-1958. Together, they had her first and only child, daughter Tennise Broeck Morse. Georgia divorced N. Brewster Morse in 1957. Circa 1960, Georgia changed her name to Gibrana Gabriel. Under the name of Gibrana Gabriel, Georgia married (second) John, and they were divorced within a year. Under the name of Gibrana Gabriel, Georgia married (third) Kenneth Briscoe. After their divorce, Georgia married (fourth and finally) Clarence Windom. Georgia Merle (Crowley) Morse died circa 2004 in New York, New York. Her legal name, at her death, was Gibrana Gabriel Windom. When I ordered my parents' memorial stone, I decided to honor her under her original name. It was her name when I was born, and her relationship with my father was her most enduring. They were married for fourteen years.

Dear Mom, In your long journey, you were proudest of your connection to my dad, and proud of his heritage. Now you rest in the Morse Family Plot, in New York. New York was always "home" to you. I'm glad I could bring you home. Love.

Beloved mother. I always thought you'd find your way home to me before your death.
