N. Brewster Morse
Birth: May 19, 1903
New York, USA
Death: Feb. 21, 1958
Los Angeles County
California, USA

My father was a writer, most noted for Hollywood screenplays. He was married first to Frances. They had no children. He and his second wife, Georgia Merle Crowley, had one daughter, me. His parents were Ten Broeck Morse and Carolyn Louise Weaver. At the time of his death my parents had recently divorced, and my mother could not afford a funeral. His ashes were interred by the state of CA. But, he always told my mother there was a place for him in the Morse family burial plot. Until a few years ago, I did not know where that was, but through the internet, I discovered it was in Kings County, Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York. Thanks to my daughter Margaret's financial help, a memorial stone to both my parents was placed in that plot in December of 2011, next to three other generations of this Morse family. I have searched for almost fifty years for a picture of N. Brewster Morse at any stage of his life. If you have one, please contact me. Tennise Broeck Morse Gallegos
