MARYSVILLE -- Dr. Francis A. Morrison, 82, of Marysville died Tuesday, December 16, 2003 in Mercy Hospital.

He was born December 5, 1921 in Port Huron to the late John H. & Genevieve E. Morrison.

He married Margaret E. Woodward on July 26, 1956 in Port Huron.

Dr. Morrison was a Chiropractor serving patients in Marysville for 54 years. He was a graduate of Palmer Chiropractic University. He was a WW II U.S. Army veteran. Dr. Morrison was a founding member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Marysville and loved bagpipe music. He was a founder, past president and Paul Harris Fellow of Marysville Rotary. He was an active Mason with Marysville Lodge # 498 F. & A.M., Port Huron Commandery Knights Templar #7, Scottish Rite Bodies-Valley of Detroit, past president Blue Water Scottish Rite Club, Huron Chapter #27 Royal Arch Masons, Charter member and treasurer of White Pine Forest-Tall Cedars of Lebanon, St. Clair River College, York Rite Sovereign College of North America. He was a former chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of Marysville. He enjoyed carpentry and landscaping.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Mr. and Mrs. Shaun (Maria) Morrison of Carol Stream, Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. Craig (Phyllis) Morrison of Aynor, South Carolina and Tyler Morrison of California; a daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Rebecca) Gordon of Marysville; six grandchildren; a brother, Graydon Morrison of Port Huron; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2003 in Marysville Funeral Home, 1200 Michigan Avenue. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in All Saints Episcopal Church, Marysville. The Reverend Cathy McKinney will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
