"Railway Brakeman Expires in Home
John J. Morrison, 57, resident of Port Huron 30 years and employee of the Grand Trunk system 22 years, died today in his home, 2002 Twenty-fourth street.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eliza Morrison, and his mother, Mrs. Mary Morrison, both of Port Huron; five brothers, George Morrison, Saginaw; Alex Morrison, who lives in Colorado; Daniel Morrison, Chisolm, Minn.; Neil Morrison, Munising, Mich.; and Angus Morrison, Port Huron; and two sisters, Mrs. T.J. Kennedy, Mt. Pleasant, Mich.; and Mrs. Robert Jennings, Toronto, Ont..
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
Mr. Morrison was born in August, 1875, in Parkhill, Ont. He was employed as brakeman by the Grand Trunk and was a member of the Port Huron lodge, No. 241, Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen."
