Mrs. Annie Morris Arnold, 82, of Rt. 4, Martinsville, the Preston community, died Thursday afternoon.

Mrs. Arnold was a Henry County native, born Aug 10, 1896, a daughter of the late Walter C. (Buster) Morris and Mollie Ann Eggleston Morris. She was a member of the Preston Wesleyan church.

Surviving are her husband, Charlie Green Arnold; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Bryan of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Mrs. Clark (Millie Ann) Hubband and Mrs. James (Irene) Lusk, both of Martinsville; five sons, David Lewis Arnold of Rt. 1, Ridgeway; Willard Arnold of Rt. 2., Ridgeway; Paul Arnold and Page Arnold, both of Rt. 4, Martinsville; and Bill Arnold of Martinsville; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a half brother, Curtis A. Morris of Rt. 2., Ridgeway; and a half sister, Mrs. Harry (Mary) Grogan of Rt. 2, Ridgeway.
