Marjorie E. (Morris) Broadwater, 98, of Millville passed away Tuesday morning, Dec. 18, 2012, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton after a brief illness.

Born in Germantown, Pa., she grew up in the South Jersey area and had lived in Millville since 1927. She and her husband owned and operated Broadwater's Laundromat and Dry Cleaning in Millville. Prior to that, she worked as a seamstress for Cumberland Cloak and Model Blouse Co., both in Millville. Mrs. Broadwater was a charter member of the First Assembly of God Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was an avid reader.

Mrs. Broadwater is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Hunter of Millville; three generations of grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Allen, in 1990; two daughters, Elizabeth "Betty" Cain and Phyllis Gadola; two brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted in the First Assembly of God Church, 1700 Wheaton Ave., Millville. There will be a viewingin the church. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.

Arrangements are under the direction of Christy Funeral Home, Millville.
