Mrs. Louise Morris Adams, age 78, of Canaan, Indiana, entered this life on August 4, 1935 in Canaan, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late, Isaac and Memril Tingle Morris. She was raised in Jefferson County and was a 1955 graduate of Central High School on Ryker's Ridge. On May 27, 1955 she was united in marriage to Bennie J. Adams in Madison, Indiana. This happy union of fifty eight years was blessed with a son, David and a daughter, Susan. Louise and Bennie bought their farm in 1967 near Pleasant and have enjoyed their years together. She enjoyed helping her husband with his harness and leather shop and visiting with their many customers. Louise had first worked for Frisch's Restaurant in Madison and later for Meyer's MFG. She also had driven a sub bus route for Switzerland County Schools for many years. She retired after twenty years of service in production at the U.S. Shoe Corporation having worked at the Madison, Osgood and Vevay factories. Louise loved animals and enjoyed raising Shelties and Toy Fox Terriers. She enjoyed trap shooting, gardening, riding horses, selling Avon products and collecting birdhouses. She was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church and the Central High School Alumni. Louise was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Louise found great enjoyment in the outdoors and enjoyed her daily four mile walks. Louise died on Monday, February 10, 2014, at 2:12 p.m. at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehab Center in Vevay, Indiana.

Louise will be missed by her loving husband of fifty eight years, Bennie J. Adams of Canaan, Indiana; her loving son, David Adams and his wife, Nancy of Canaan, Indiana; her loving daughter, Susan Shackelford and her husband, Steve of Vevay, Indiana; her loving grandchildren, Steven (Jessie); Lori (Scott); Rhea Jean (Ben); Ray (Jolene); Alesha (Fred); Chris (Erica); her adoring great grandchildren, Wyatt, Brook, Amber, Abby, Olivia, Liam & Lacy; her loving sister, Lois Ann Richmond and her husband, Randy of Louisville, Kentucky; her sisters in law and brothers in laws, Marjorie Adams of Madison, Indiana, Sheila and Rick Scott of Madison, Indiana, Vickie Adams of Madison, Indiana, Linda Curtis of Ashland City, Tennessee, Brenda McDole of Madison, Indiana, Wanda Adams of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Isaac Morris died, June 13, 1955; her mother, Memril Tingle Morris Adams died, July 4, 1980; her step father, Walter F. Adams died, May 10, 1978; her sisters, Jean Howell died, October 19, 1995 and Debra L. Myers died, March 14, 2011.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 14, 2014, at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor Scott Elston at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Hebron Cemetery near Madison, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana.
