Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Morris Andrews, widow of Adam Andrews, who entered into rest, Sunday night, June 25, 1933 at her residence, 881 Thirteenth street, will be conducted this Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock at Elliott & Sons' Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas Walker will officiate and interment will follow in the West View cemetery. Survivors are a son, J.C. Andrews; a daughter, Mrs. J. W. Rhodes; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren, all of Augusta; three brothers, Charlie Morris, of Augusta; Thomas Morris, of Sylvania, Ga.; and Willie Morris, of Greensboro, Ga.; four sisters, Mrs. Jim Reader, of Augusta, Mrs. W.T. Branson, of Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Alice Chapman, of Augusta, and Mrs. Zudie Minton, of Macon. Mrs. Andrews had been in ill health for a quarter century, during which time she bore her suffering without complaint. She portrayed the true Christian spirit ever considerate of the feelings of others. It maybe said of her that she was a true Christian character, serving her fellow associates and the Master unselfishly. She was conscientious in her every associations. Her death marks the passing of a devoted mother and loss irreparable to the community.
