Funeral services for Mrs. Jack Strong, 48, of Alamagordo, NM were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 20 and Dunn Memorial Chapel in Tucumcari.
Mrs. Strong died at her home Monday, February 16 after a long illness.
She was born in Pawnee, OK May 12, 1921 and spent most of her life in Tucumcari, where she and Mr. Strong were married.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, J. Edwin Griggs of Los Alamos, NM and Gary A. Griggs of Nashut, NH; her mother, Mrs. Ann Morris of Douglas, AZ; a step-sister, Mrs. Mary Griggs of El Paso and one grandchild.
