Mrs. Richard W. Morris, 76, long time resident of Villisca and vicinity died Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at the Montgomery County home south of Red Oak, where she and her husband have resided for the last three years. The cause of her death was old age complication The body was brought Wednesday morning to the Wolfe Funeral Parlor whee it was prepared for burial. Mrs. Morris had been an invalid for many years.
Heppa Ann Bolt was born January 26, 1860 near Sciola and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Bolt. She was married on December 29, 1881 at the home of her parents to Richard W. Morris, to which union were born two sons, Park A., who preceded his mother in death and Frank E. of Omaha.
There are three brothers living, James M. and Edward Bolt of Villisca; John W. Bolt of San Antonio, Texas, and three half brothers, Fred Bolt, Villisca, T. J. Bolt, Las Vagas, New Mexico, and Charles Bolt, address unknown. There is also one sister, Mrs. August Jacobson of Villisca and a half sister, Mrs. H. E. Smith of Anacortes, Washington.
Mr. and MRs. Morris moved to Villisca in 1911 and lived here until three years ago.
