Evelyn K. Morrell, age 87, of 1328 Wisconsin Ave., New Holstein, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 1996, at Outagamie County Health Center, Appleton, where she was a patient for over a year.
Evelyn was born Oct. 17, 1909 in St. Ann, a daughter of the late John and Pauline Schnur Kobriger.
On June 1, 1940, she was married to Emil Morrell at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein.
Survivors include her husband, Emil of New Holstein; one daughter, Marilyn (Chuck) Neilitz, Little Chute; two sons, Leonard (Linda) Morrell, Stockbridge; and Raymond Morrell of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Georgia (Michael) Edgington; Ginger (Rick) Lafond; Mathew Morrell, Robin Morrell, Amanda Morrell; one great-grandson, Ryan Lafond; and one sister, Viola Kobriger, of Sacramento, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services for Evelyn K. Morrell will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein. Friends may call at the church at 11 a.m. on Thursday, until the time of services. The Rev. Patrick Lloyd S.C.J. will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.
A memorial fund will be established in Evelyn’s name.
