Betty L. Crampton
Betty L. Morlan Crampton, 92, of Parkersburg died Jan. 27, 2006, at the Arcadia Nursing Center.
She was born at Letart, W.Va., the daughter of the late Everett and Hallie Amos McGraw. She had worked for the American Viscose for 20 years and later worked for the YMCA, where she retired from in 1979.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Cris Kuhn and her husband, Tim, of Tuppers Plains, Ohio; her grandson, Mike Morlan of Parkersburg; her great-grandsons, Nicholas and Alexander Kuhn of Tuppers Plains and Benjamin Morlan of Sevierville, Tenn.; her sisters, Mary Dollman of Vienna and Beulah Miller of Glendale, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Morlan; one son, Jerry Morlan; one grandson, C.J. Morlan; one great-granddaughter, Pamela Morlan; two sisters, Edna Crawford and Tillie Hoselton; and one brother, Vollie McGraw.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg, with Evangelist Mike Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
