Born in Chicago, the eldest of four children, he moved to New York residing in Bay Ridge and Munsey Park before moving to Moriches in 1989.
As president of the Italian Board of Guardians, he helped World War II orphans. A successful businessman and investor for over 50 years, he was CEO and Partner in Contadina Foods, Inc.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Irene; loving children, Candee (Larry) Swenson of Remsenburg, NY, Tony (Marijane) of Manhasset, NY; and beloved granddaughter, Laura of Manhattan.
Services held at Giove Funeral Home, Middle Island NY. Mass at St. Frances Cabrini RC Church, Coram, NY. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, NY.
